Here we go again.

I will save you the minute details of our day. The main thing you need to know is we clocked 250 miles on our car! As I stated yesterday we planned on staying home today. Now 250 miles, an acrylic nail kit, and 28 baby chickens later, we are finally home.
Emma has been doing cheerleading this year for the YMCA. She has her first game on Tuesday! I am so so excited. She is so smart for a two (almost three) year old. She can remember all of her cheers. There are about ten they do and she knows every one! She doesn't have the hand motions exactly right but hey, she does better then I could lol. Her most favorite thing about cheering is the pom poms. She carries them all over the house practicing her cheers. I am so grateful she likes cheering. It is great for her socially and physically. Words could never begin to express how proud I am of her. She is sharp as a tack and so darn cute.
Cheyenne's news is not quite as exciting. She is cutting two teeth. Talk about grumpy. She is normally fussy anyway, add two sharp teeth slowly cutting through her gums and you have one heck of a fussy butt. She is sleeping beside me as I type this. I love to cuddle with her. She is like my own personal space heater! Gary was tLkimg today about how much I spoil her. I just can't help it. I know she is my last baby so I feel like I have to soak up every minute! Emma gets spoiled as well, don't get me wrong, there is just something about Cheyenne. She is a special little baby.
I did my own acrylic nails tonight. They actually turned out okay. Beats the heck out of spending $25 to get them done. And I can do my own fill ins. It's sad how little things excite me so lol. My baby guinea pigs are doing good. They were out of their little house today. They were ru ni g around the cage and even ate some food. Gary even thinks they are cute which, trust me,says a lot.
I am actually very sleepy tonight, which os very odd for me. I think I will go sneak some cookies and milk and head to bed. I hope your day was as uneventful as mine :)

Our ordinary day.

I am going to try my hand at this blogging thing! I hope I don't bore anyone too much haha. Our life is pretty ordinary but can get crazy at times. This is a day in the life of a stay at home mom.
We woke up this morning at about 9am. I was shocked that both of the girls actually slept that long. Emma has been potty trained now for about three weeks. She woke up this morning because she had wet the bed :(. I am bound and determined not to start putting a diaper on her at night. I hope the bed wetting is just a phase and she will soon learn to wake up when she has to go potty. Cheyenne would have slept longer but Gary woke her up when he went in her room to get Emma some clean underpants. I made Cheyenne a bottle and started breakfast. As I was cooking I heard our guinea pigs making noise. It shocked me because they usually only "talk" if they need food or water and I knew they had both. I walked over to see what was the matter and discovered three little baby guinea pigs in the cage!! I was so excited!!! We didn't know for sure if Oreo was even pregnant. The little babies are so adorable. Emma was super excited and couldn't wait to pet one. I had already started breakfast though so she had to wait(and was not happy about that).
I went back to making breakfast, we had sausage, biscuts and eggs. Gary had me make 18, yes 18 eggs haha. I ate about two, Emma had one and he ate the rest. He sure can pack away some food! After breakfast we washed up the dishes and I started laundry. We had planned on staying home today and cleaning house but we never stick to our plans! We decided to get the kids dressed and go to town. We ventured out at about 11 am. We made a trip to Freds to check out the sales. I found Gary a really nice summer cap and I got a Jesus fish chrome emblem for my car. We headed on in to town and decided to go get some lunch. Emma's favorite place to eat is Godfathers pizza so we decided to go there. The food was so good and fresh! I love when that happens lol. After we ate we went to the Peddler's Mall. It is like an indoor flea market. We normally don't find anything to buy but we like to go look anyway. We lucked up on some really nice baseball caps. I got one for Gary and one for his best friend who had a birthday not too long ago that I forgot about(oops). I saw a backpack I wanted but didn't get it.
We left the mall and Gary went into the Dollar store to get some paper plates and cups. We headed towards home. I called my friend Amanda to see if she was home so I could drop the cap I bought earlier for her husband by. I ran in there and gave her the cap.
We were headed back home when I decided that I did in fact want the backpack I had seen earlier. We made another trip to town lol. When I was in the Peddlers Mall buying my backpack Gary found a tag sale in the paper. I called and found out the address and off we went.
Cheyenne was taking her nap in the car and Emma was asking a million questions! She is so very inquisitive. We found some great buys at the tag sale. The best of which was two old wooden ironing boards for $20! Gary is going to hang them on the wall for me. I know they will look great.
We left the tag sale and dropped by a friends house. We only stayed there about an hour because I needed to get back home and finish laundry. We finally made it home! Whew. I got the baby settled and unloaded the car. It was supper time and I really didn't feel like cooking so we had a sammy night. I finished washing dishes and did a few more loads of laundry. I fed the baby and put her to bed. Emma and Gary were watching tv and relaxing while I was finishing up my "chores". I ran upstairs to embroider the new backpack I bought. (Which turned out super cute by the way!)
And that was our day! Not to much excitement haha. Tomorrow we plan on staying home, but I already said how that goes...
